In 1860, this 2+ bedroom/2 bathroom loft suite was a hayloft for a livery stable. It’s come a long way - after an extensive, award-winning rehabilitation project, the Livery Loft is now a gorgeous suite that you can make your home away from home! The Livery Loft has the perfect downtown Madison location, centrally located in the business district, and only three blocks from the river.

The Livery Loft is very spacious, with a large living room, dining room, gourmet kitchen, master bedroom, second bedroom, insulated quiet room, office, two full bathrooms, and a full laundry! With high-end appointments and amazing amenities, it is perfect for a couple’s getaway or a family retreat.

Living spaces

The Livery Loft features a very large living room and dining room area, complete with a huge sectional couch, dining room table, and high raftered ceilings.

The full kitchen showcases Brazilian magma granite countertops, stainless appliances, an induction range/oven, and high-quality dishes and tableware.

An insulated quiet room serves as a TV room or a great place to take a solitary nap. And a separate office allows for distraction-free remote work!

Bedrooms

The Livery Loft sleeps 1-5 guests in comfortable, well-appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom features luxury linens, a closet, a large armoire, and a large window for natural light.

The second bedroom contains two twin beds - perfect for kids! - along with a huge armoire, a desk, and a window.

The insulated quiet room doubles as a bedroom for a 5th guest, and with its comfortable daybed and sound shielded nature, might offer the best sleep on the block!

Bathrooms

The Livery Loft’s bathrooms received the same luxury treatment as the rest of the suite. The master bath features a huge soaking tub with a warming fireplace above. A massage shower, dual sinks, and heated towels pamper you even more!

The second bathroom is large and bright, with a rainfall shower, dual sinks, and even a heated toilet seat!

Finally, a new in-suite laundry room with washer/dryer is here for your exclusive use!

Details matter.

The Livery Loft wasn’t constructed in a hurry, and we spent a lot of time on the details. We kept as much history intact as possible while arriving at our end goal of high-end luxury. The result is a suite full of both art, craft, form, and function.

Marvel at a century-old hay bale trolley, or enjoy provided coffee, snacks, and drinks in the gourmet kitchen. Take the time to appreciate the many equestrian-themed artworks, and to leave a handwritten note in our guestbook.

  • Yes, the entry to your suite is private and keyless.

  • Both our suites boast full luxury kitchens with a microwave, refrigerator, oven & range, dishwasher, full sink, plenty of counter space, dining table, and high-end dishes and tableware.

  • Both our suites offer two full bathrooms. Between the two you’ll find a bathtub, two showers, luxury appointments, and plenty of room.

  • Livery Loft offers luxury appointments, including:

    • Plenty of comfortable furniture

    • High-quality beds

    • High-speed internet

    • Multiple smart HDTV’s

    • Private thermostat

  • Pull right up to the door to unload. Afterwards, abundant, free curbside parking is available directly outside of our building on Broadway!
